Colin and RockyIt was a dull grey morning. Colin and Rocky were walking along the seashore towards Tideswell Lighthouse. It hadn’t stopped raining but suddenly the clouds parted and the sun came out. “Rocky, look at that wonderful rainbow!” said Colin.

It was a cool and breezy morning. Colin and Rocky were walking along the cliff path towards Tideswell. Colin looked up into the sky and could see lots of white puffy, fluffy clouds. “It’s going to be a nice day,” said Colin.

Goodwin the Lifeboat CoxswainIt was a wet, showery day. Colin and Rocky were on their way to the lifeboat station to meet Goodwin the Coxswain of the Tideswell lifeboat, ‘Tilly-Rose’.

Goodwin was on the beach near the lifeboat station when Colin and Rocky arrived. The tide had gone out and Goodwin was standing by a big pool of water in some rocks.

“Look at this wonderful rock pool Colin,” said Goodwin, “I can see lots of different types of creatures.”
