About the story

It’s a warm summer morning. Mistie, the mischievous boathouse cat, sneaks onto a yacht in Tideswell Harbour to take a quiet nap. She wakes in surprise to find the yacht is competing in the annual ‘Round Pebble Island’ yacht race!

The weather deteriorates, a summer squall blows in and the yacht is disabled. Help is needed! Colin the Coastguard’s call goes out for Goodwin, his lifeboat and crew. Safely back but Mistie is missing! There she is, up the mast and holding on for dear life! How to get her down? Lots of head scratching but Slippy the seagull has the answer! Sounds like a fishy tale!

The book ends with a fun Search Mission.
